Record DRM-protected files - legally

Audials Tunebite is an all-in-one program that will let you copy and convert DRM-protected files so you can use them wherever you want.

This slick-looking app performs two main functions – it allows you to copy DRM-protected files so that you can use them on any device, while also allowing you to convert the format of any files you own. Audials Tunebite also offers a built-in player, ringtone creator, CD and DVD burner and the ability to record music and videos while surfing the web.

Removing DRM-protection is probably Audials Tunebite’s main selling point...but it's also packed full of other features and will allow you to get really creative with your media. The interface is attractive, and there is a good selection of configuration options to make using the program very easy. Audials Tunebite also offers adequate user help.

Nobody would call Audials Tunebite a low-resource program, however, so bear this in mind if you are thinking of running it on a less powerful system. Another issue that irritates from the get-go is the need to install lots of extra components in order to use the basic features. Why all that couldn’t have been included in the original installation is a mystery, and irritates users who want to get started quickly.

HORRIBLE...I MAY HAVE UPGRADED. DON'T WASTE THE MONEY.. OK, I HAVE SHORTENED THIS REVIEW TO THE POINT WHERE I HAVE A ZILLION CHARS LEFT, YET KEEPS TELLING ME IT'S "TOO LONG". HMM..SURE.HERE IT IS IN A NUTSHELL FOLKS:ThIS software doesn't just CONVERT it your paid and protected files, but literally CUTS THEM OFF AT THE KNEES, rendering them inoperable forever. I am now left with anywhere from $1-2k worth of "converted" music files that are all exactly ONE MINUTE AND 1 SECOND LONG. This software is malware in my opinion. Pros: Looks nice, easy to use. Cons: Ruins complete files. Turns previously whole and functioning protected files into "sample snippets" and then tries to sell them back to you through the media player in the process.

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.
